Mark founded Space Between in collaboration with local musicians and music industry professionals, with the goal of creating a safe and healthy space for creatives to build comradery, share in the ups and downs of the profession, and support one another through the grind of the music industry. Mark currently organizes and facilitates Space Between's monthly programming.

Mark is a practicing Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), is a therapist on an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Hennepin County, owner of a private therapy practice for the music industry (Jive Counseling), and a fellow sonic explorer and fan during his free time. As a humanist focused clinician, Mark's primary interest is in helping others find common ground and compassion within the shared human experience. Mental health is his profession and music his passion.

Favorite show of all time, ever, probably has to be Sturgill Simpson 3-piece at Hinterland 2018. Couldn't form a sentence for hours after, wowza!
